The interreligious delegation of the Working Group of the Council for Interaction with Religious Associations under the President of the Russian Federation visited Syria and Lebanon from February 3 to 9, where an unprecedented volume of humanitarian aid was delivered, funds for which were collected by Russian believers. A cargo weighing 77 tons was distributed to those in need in Damascus and Aleppo, as well as in a refugee camp in the Bekaa Valley on the Lebanese-Syrian border.

Despite all this, we, as people of faith, are out of politics, we are ready to help everyone who suffers there."
